if I have an 8TB raid 5 set up, how many TB of data can I actually store in the device allowing for the duplication?

I am trying to decide which size of RAID unit to buy.

  • For 2TB*4. The capacity for raid5 array is 2TB*(n-1)=2TB*3=6TB.
