  Laurie, As long as your iPad or iPhone supports mirroring (New iPad, iPad 2, and 4S) then you can mirror anything that is happening on the device.

• Yes it does. It is just useful for people who do not have a HDMI port on their receiving device, for example a monitor with just a DVI/VGA ports.
