One point to consider - If you use the headphone jack, you will be using your computer's DAC instead of the audiophile-grade DAC built into the subwoofer. Accordingly, It would be best to hook to each computer using USB - perhaps a splitter or some kind of hub will do the trick. …More

Because the Iphone 5 uses a smaller connector then the previous models you won't be able to plug the phone to the dock on the focal speakers, but if you buy the $29 adapter you will be able to use the dock on the speakers. On saying all this you can use the 3.5 mm connector from the focal speakers and plug it into the Iphone's headphone connection …More

The Focal XS set up reproduces low end frequencies very well and maintains fidelity without any noticeable distorsion, ( including CDs brought in to iTunes, using iTunes MP3 sampling defaults). With base-orineted music, such as Techno or House, the sub-woofer comes to life and keeps up with large amounts of air displacement, again with no apparent distorsion.
