iHome iP9 Dual Alarm Clock Radio for iPhone and iPod
Best Product ever!
Written by MH from Hay River

I was so excited to buy this product, and it was all worth it!
There is not one day that I don't use it, it's just so much better than any other ipod docking station because it plays radio, your ipod and charges it all at the same time.
Not only is it fantastic for playing your music completely clearly, but it is a marvelous price. Being a 17 year old, you don't always have that much money stowed away.
This product is probably the most awesome thing I have in my room! …More676 of 734 people found this useful

alarm clock/ipod

I love this product for the price and all that it does. Charge your ipod, listen to the radio. The time is atomic clock so the clock sets itself. It also has a light that goes from very light to dark with a push of a button. …More

iHome iP9 Dual Alarm Clock Radio for iPhone and iPod
This so totally rocks!!!!!
Written by TH from Middletown

This isn't your old radio alarm clock. It's made for iPod products and to that purpose it works perfectly. If you want to listen to the radio your in for a surprise, stations tune in digitally and sound great w/ 2 antennas. Do you have one song you want to wake up to, like "Wake up Call" by L. Ford, it's as easy as creating a playlist and dropping in a song, set iHome to wake to playlist and you'll fade into your "wakie wakie - eggs and bakie" song. Light bother you at night, you can turn off the backlighting completely. The included remote could not function any more perfectly.
Overall, I love mine and recommend it to everyone.
Cons: To set the time and radio stations you rotate a ring. I would rather have seen push buttons. This is so very minor and forgotten once set. …More369 of 398 people found this useful

iHome iP9 Dual Alarm Clock Radio for iPhone and iPod
Compatibility issues
Written by JS from Washington
23-Nov-2009
I bought one of these from Costco. It rarely worked properly with my 3G. I would constantly receive the accessory warning and had to often switch it into Airplane Mode. I was disappointed with the fact that it would randomly wake up and play random tracks. I even had this problem with the alarm. It wouldn't properly play my "iHome" playlist. Instead, it would choose a random track. (Yes, I knew what I was doing. I read the instructions and 9 times out of 10, it worked properly.) I didn't buy this alarm clock for 9/10 performance. I trust alarm clocks to work every time. That's the idea, right? I figured I had a lemon. Returned it. Picked up a new one and had the same problems. I returned that one and bought a Logitech PureFi Anytime. I love it. Wish I would have bought it the first time. …More

iHome iP9 Dual Alarm Clock Radio for iPhone and iPod
Nothing really worked well on mine
Written by SD from BURNABY

I was very disappointed to find out that about 15 minutes after I started using the iHome iP9, the buttons worked inconsistently, sometimes I couldn't control my iPod from the buttons at the top of the iP9, I got up late the next morning because the alarm didn't go off when I had extensively tested it the night before, and when I came back at the end of the day, the time had advanced 2 hours by itself, then came back to normal. Don't know if I got a lemon, but I am not impressed at all. …More

iHome iP9 Dual Alarm Clock Radio for iPhone and iPod
Great Audio, but radio's made based on FCC std
Written by AS

Great audio and works with most version of iPod, though I would have preferred at least the stand for one gen before the current. Though my 5th gen iPod works fine and charges well, not having a base for attaching is not useful.
Treble, Bass and sound is great for its size and features. Frequency range supported is good for the price. Good display-dimmer and auto-dim works just right.
FM is great, but supports only odd decimal frequency (FCC guideline), so suitable only to US and other countries with 0.2 MHz bandwidth. You won't be able to use it for frequencies like 91.4MHz (very noisy), whereas works great for those with odd decimal digits (91.7MHz), so be wary if you intend to use the radio and your are not in North America.
Thought I bought it, a "Made in China" slightly worries me, since my (personal) experience with goods made there haven't been great, but probably I'm just running a bad luck with them.
Overall, 4 star if you are in US and 3 if you are outside. …More5 of 5 people found this useful
