Do they test these products before putting them out on the market?

I purchased this after have an unsuccessful try with the Nike armband. The store employee wouldn't allow me to try it on in store before I purchased it so I bought it with the hopes that I found the right armband. I placed my iPod nano in the armband and tied it around my arm. The fit was ok. I think it's a bit too bulky though compared to the other armbands. The problem with this armband is that it is very difficult to scroll up and down due to the plastic piece that covers the wheel. I'd suggest passing on this one as well. More

I bought this armband after trying the new nike one and not being able to get it past my forearm. I loved my nike armband designed for the 2nd generation nano as it was extremely comfortable, and scrolled easily. Comfort wise this is the closest thing I could find. My only two complaints on this armband are that it is difficult to scroll (but gets better after washing and use. Also if you have placed one of the protective skins on the dial take it off. You will find the scrolling action much better.). And I have noticed that moisture does get into the nano compartment. All in all it works, and is better than its competition. Still waiting for a company to listen to all of our complaints and remedy them. 1. Make two sizes to accommodate different body types 2. Moisture resistant nano compartment 3. Easy to use scrolling wheel. 4. Easy insertion, and removal of nano. 5. Flexible More

the whole armband is excellent. the padding, materials used, construction - all good.

I did 2hr cycle trainng session, came back dripping wet the the iPod was dry inside.

One problem: the plastic is too thick to scroll the click wheel... not so good.

I use this every other day. The strap is easy to clean, comfortable, and my nano stays in place. It is a bit difficult to turn up or down the volume through the plastic front.. so it gets 4 out of 5. BUT its perfect for my every other day running schedule. More

I've had this armband for about 10 months and have basically no complaints. Sure the wheel is harder to roll through the plastic, but it is not that bad. I can easily change the volume or song while running full speed on a treadmill. It's comfortable and doesn't move whether I'm lifting weights or running. I've used it approximately 4 times a week for 10 months. It's still in good shape. More

I am a big fan of Incase's other products, and yeah I was very disappointed to find out that the jog wheel, for all practical purposes, does not work with it. Now, for those of us who are in this situation (already have it and can't find another better case, or too stubborn to return it), here's a incredibly simple solution. Put the nano in it, trace a box in a thin line around the wheel, take the nano out, put a wide metal ruler in it, and use a pen-knife to cut out a neat hole in it. FIXED, and no the hole is not likely to tear since the pressure of the band is exerted above the hole, not on it. If you haven't bought it and don't have a pressing need for an armband, wait for a better case. More
