Does what it's supposed to do. The black color looks cool. Works with the new iPhone. You can use the cord as a USB cable if you forgot yours at home. Has a lighted ring that shows you if its charging or done charging. If this is what you need, this one is a good one. …More

I just ordered this product four days ago and it got delivered pretty fast. At first when you read the product label and its container, it doesn't show iPhone 3G is compatible with the product BUT it's working like a charm for iPhone 3G. The led ring light indicates if your iPhone is fully charged or not (red for charging and green for fully charged). You can buy an extra Apple USB Power Adapter to charge outside the car in case if you forgot yours somewhere - just use the cable included in this car charger. I had to give my old charger away and was a little worried when I bought this one for the new iPhone 3G. To my surprise, I found that it works very nicely has the best price of all the other car chargers. I personally find this to be better then all the other chargers because I don't find a cradle taking up space from your center console to be necessary. …More

drained my car battery

I plugged the PowerJolt into the aux port. Charged the phone for 20 minutes. Parked my car, turned the engine off, disconnected my phone and left the charger in the Aux port while I went to work. The car battery was dead at the end of the day.
The charging light doesn't show any color when the car is turned off, giving no indication of any power drain.
I've never had any problems with my car battery draining with a Nokia or Blackberry charger! This one is going back to the Applel Store. …More1 of 5 people found this useful

It works.
The problem is that when I connect the cable on I Phone 3GS, it appears a message telling that the acessorie does not work with the I Phone.
