Works great but the two layers right at the hole are splitting apart after 7 or 8 months. Only one of the 2 layers still attaches. Works great but the two layers right at the hole are splitting apart after 7 or 8 months. Only one of the 2 layers still attaches. I keep putting the second layer back on. I'll order another one as nothing else fits so well and it is an i Pod lifesaver. One of those times I feel Apple dropped the ball a little but Mac is so great in general that I'll tolerate it. I'd try to glue the 2 layers together with a flexible leather glue but I don't want to have to go buy a tube of this type glue just for this.

The strap quickly takes on the characteristics of an aged rubber band. I'm currently searching for a more reliable substitute.

It's a good product and it serves it's purpose but it wouldn't be worth it to pay $9 for it.
