    Beautifully Done.

This product is great and I think everyone who has an iPod Touch 2nd gen should get one of these. It allows you to control your music so much more easily. Instead of having to double click the home screen and then hitting the pause button you can just click the remote on your earbuds. So MUCH easier when your iPod is locked.

Well and then its awesome to be able to record stuff and you skype and other voip apps on your ipod. Its nearly like having an iPhone except with no monthly fee.

iPod Headphone with Mic and Remote

    Written by AG from Kingston

    5-Jan-2009

I bought these to replace my lost original set for my iPod Touch 2g. I found the sound quality for recording is excellent considering the size of the microphone.

I use iTalk to record and iTalk Sync for Windows to upload my recordings to desktop. It recorded kids running at the above appartment better then my Logitech headset with mic on my laptop.

I love the volume control and song Next/Previous when I walk the dog. I don't have to keep reaching for my iPod.

    A good buy!

    A great piece of technology!

This product is very useful to have. I am using it for the ipod touch(2nd Gen)The microphone is great and picks up all kinds of sounds. You just have to remember not to put your finger over it! This mic allows you to use many applications. The remote controls are great and easier to use than the touch screen. My only dislike is that sometimes you have to twist the input certain ways to get the remote control and mic to work. If you have an ipod touch(2nd gen) and the mic and remote don't work at first, don't worry. Just keep twisting the headphones in. More

Earphone comments and how to fix the volume control

Written by RM from rancho cucamonga

    21-Nov-2009

I like the sound of the earphones, they have the best bass for non-sealing earbuds that I have found, but the volume control quit working the other day. It appears the control is not sealed and sweat gets in it. Someone else mentioned it has to dry out, but I must have particularly pernicious sweat, because it did not heal itself. The solution was to spray a light oil on the inline control, in this case I used WD-40. I generously sprayed it, clicked the controls a few times, and it started working almost immediately, the only problem is now I smell like sweat and WD-40. As with any technical opinion you do this at your own risk, I am just relating what I did. This is for a touch, and I do not use the microphone, so I have no idea if it is affected. More

ZERO STARS (I only put 1 star because Apple forces you to enter something!)

I agree with the post Written by SN from Kilauea on Nov 18, 2009. I am also a runner, and the Apple ear buds the come with the Ipod Touch have failed me twice while I was running. I took my original pair to an Apple Store a few weeks ago because the music kept jumping around and the Voice Control kept interrupting and turning on and off. I was told that the problem was with the ear bud and Apple gave me a replacement pair. Well, I'm going back again to get another pair because the same thing happened again. I see no reason why Apple cannot package a sturdier pair of ear buds with the Ipod Touch. More
