You would think these are really stupid, and they don't offer much protection, but consider how many cases...
are compatible with iTrip?
can be put on backwards to cover the iPod while plugged in or on the dock?
are machine washable?
fit both the iPod and iPod mini?

yes they may look funky and you can match them up to your dress code but they dont give much of a protection to your ipod and you have to take your i pod out to use it.there basically expensive cloths and i think your money would be better spent on something that will actually protect your ipod from all the eliments. …More

These are totally rediculous. My wife bought them because they looked 'cute.' Considering the iPod slides out of them at least once a day and you can't access the buttons once it's inside, I consider this a serious waste of money ($30!?). My wife's iPod is all scratched up because of it. I leave my iPod mini in my armband all day long and have no troubles whatsoever. For $30 go by yourself some socks that are actually for your feet, or better yet, buy some other case. I would rate these a 'zero' but it won't let you rate that low. …More

The ipod socks have a really soft and stretchy, with a nice sowing design, but don't fit well with all. (not recommended for a long-time use case because you cant keep the sock on and access the ipod at the same time, leaving it open to damage)
Ipod classic: it fits perfectly, and tightly. (10/10)
Ipod nano: since the ipod nano is slim and quite small, it fits, but can slip out of the case easily. (7/10)
Ipod shuffle: not recommended, due to the Ipod's size. (4/10)

I just bought these- I tried them on my iPod Classic 160gb, and they fit it perfectly. They also fit all other iPod models. They even fit on my iPod with its hard case on! I definitely recommend these because they don't scratch the iPod and they are great for cold weather or just to look stylish! I love the colors and the knit fabric is very soft. I love them! …More

Apple claims that they work with all iPods. When I first got my iPod Touch (it's a 2nd generation, but they're the same size), I tried using the socks with it. While my iPod fit, it just barely fit, and stuck out a tiny bit on the edge of the sock. So it's possible to use these with an iPod Touch, but I wouldn't recomment it for long-term use. …More

As of October 2009 Apple currently do not make an official "Apple iPod Sock" in the colour RED. The closes colour to RED that is available in this pack is a shade of PINK. However the colour RED is available by third party brands. …More
