Great Portable Drive!
This Porsche drive is very convenient - it's very compact, light and fast. USB 3.0 speed is significantly faster than USB 2.0. The drive is great for backups and copying large files. It looks great, and thanks to the metal casing, it doesn't get scratched up in my bag. I love it! …

After losing my old external drive a few months ago, I decided to change the brand and try this drive. It holds the same informati on and thanks to the USB 3.0 connection, it is amazingly fast at transferring data. It's very solidly built. I feel a lot more comfortable taking this drive with me if I need to, it doesn't have to be handled like a breakable object unlike my old drive. …

Worse portable drive I've ever worked with
The USB cable constantly and easily falling right off the drive is enough for this to be a very unreliable drive for portable use. I do not recommend this to anyone who cares about their files not getting corrupted from accidental ejections. I'm lucky my Final Cut Pro autosave files were still good otherwise I would've lost an entire weeks worth of editing when the USB cable came off on it's own. …

As advertised
4 stars because there are no instructions included with the product. It plugged in and came up properly (and proceded to set up f or "Time Machine". ) It came up quite quickly (45 minutes) instead of the 2 hours it took with my HD drives which lasted only 1 to 2 years each. I have observed that "Time Machine" runs at least twice as fast as the previous disk allowed.
If it lasts two years, I will be happy with the purchase.
