  I had this case on my black iPhone 4 and it broke after I dropped it about 3 times. I have this for my white iPhone 5 and it looks really nice on it. Looks better on a white iPhone than on a black iPhone. Adds a very small amount of weight on the phone.   I also have this case for my iPhone 4, which I drop frequently - mostly on carpet, but the occasional hard wood, tile and even on the pavement a couple of times. All with no problems.

  I had the same case for my iPhone 4 for over a year, and ordered it for the 5 through incase before the apple store carried it. Fo r those that prefer the minimalist cases, this is easily the best: it doesn't take away from the contour of the phone while protecting it. It also has a great grip to it to keep it from slipping out of your hands.
  
  I've dropped my phone with this case on it several times, and the phone and the case were unfazed. My favorite thing about it though is the slight recess in the case on the front: it's raised in the front just enough so you can put it face down on a surface.   I got the clear Snap Case for my white iPhone 5. I think the iPhone design on its own is beautiful and wanted a case that wouldn' t hide or interfere with it: something well made, sleek, clear, clean lines, with no ugly neon colours, not bulky, but also offer some basic scratch/bump protection. This case is exactly what I wanted: it looks amazing (especially nice with the white iPhone), fits well, feels great in the hand. Despite being smooth plastic with only a thin lip at the front, it seems to offer just enough grip. Have heard some say it is not as protective as other cases for drops, but typically I'm pretty careful with my iPhone. We'll see, but so far so good. At $29.99 in the Canadian Apple Store, it's a reasonable price (compared to many designer cases).

  I looked at both the clear incase and the adopted, and i think the incase fits the phone better, is a better design, and also look s better. i've had the case for about 4 months and have had 2 big drops and my phone is intact and working great! the first big drop cracked the corner of the case and the second big drop broke the corner off. I am replacing the case since now part of my phone is exposed. Although the case broke, it did a great job of protecting my phone and I think the clear streamlined design is worth the trade off for not being quite as durable as others.   I already had issues with this case when I realized every time I had the case on, people couldn't hear me as well. I wasn't using the case for a while since no one heard me. I finally decided to put the case back on, just my luck, my phone falls out of my purse and glass of my iphone 5 shatters onto the kitchen tile!
