GREAT Speakers but WARNING
The speakers:
Absolutely gorgeous sound!
It just works and pair easily.
The sound is crisp and the bass just loud enough.
The Warning:
I put 5 stars to that product but I want to warn owners of Retina Macbook Pros.
The Spinnaker Speakers pair via Bluetooth and unfortunately rMBP are not doing well with Bluetooth and Wifi at the same time. (Same 2.4Ghz frequencies) If you are in that case and you don't have a simultaneous Dual Band Router at home, then don't buy these speakers because you will be disappointed.
Listening to music over Bluetooth while having to turn off your Wifi is very very cumbersome.
Hope it helps you make a decision. …- Written by Antoine B from Brooklyn

These Speakers offer a horn of plenty
The Edifier Spinnaker E30 Bluetooth Sound System is certainly one incredible piece of industrial design. Some might consider it Ar t. Either way they would certainly be a great conversation piece for anyone who wonders what they are.
Designed an audiophile and and for someone who wants to have their gadgets make a statement If you are simply looking for cheap speakers, at $349, these are not it.
Not only do they look good they sound great; and the Bluetooth connectivity makes it a cinch to switch from earbuds to streaming audio from your iPod and optical audio in option allows you to enhance the sound experience from your gaming console. The ability to add a subwoofer gives you that much more capacity.
The funky remote takes a little getting used to – I’m still trying to do it all with one hand, but once you master it you’ll be fine. …- Written by Greg G from Edmonton

So can you have one speaker in one room, and the other in a second room with decent volume and sound quality in both?
- Asked by Andrew C

Answer
No, you can't separate these speakers as they are like a traditional 2.0 computer speaker with a pow er link cable connecting them to each other. The manufacturer recently has upgraded this cable length to just under 10ft so you can use this speaker in your TV room instead of a speaker bar and given that the remote is wireless, you have total control. …
