• Overview

  Focusrite's Novation Launchpad is a 64 button "music controller" jointly designed by Ableton and Novation that helps you to make music or mix tracks by other artists. No need for advanced musical knowledge—all it takes is your own creativity. This ultra-portable unit everything you require to truly "play" Live. It's also USB bus powered (no need for power sockets) and weighs in at just 1.5 pounds.

  Launch clips and scenes

  The 64-button grid and dedicated scene launch buttons are ideal for launching and controlling your clips and scenes.

  USB bus powered

  This is the only Live controller that doesn't need external power.

  Create your own control surfaces

  Set up user mode to activate or solo channels, play notes, and control FX devices, all on one page. So you can create totally personalized ways of improvising with Live.

  Innovative control over your mix

  Manage volume, pans, sends, track arming, soloing, and muting. You're free to jump to different levels across eight channels at once.

  Sketch out beats

  You can use Launchpad to play drum racks, creating beats and triggering samples in real time.

  Controlling other functions

  Control other functions using Ableton's "Learn" mode. This includes knobs and faders in Live's instruments and FX, which you can assign to rows of buttons on Launchpad.

  Controlling other software

  Control almost any other music software using Novation's award-winning "Automap" control software.
