Libratone Live Speaker with AirPlay Technology

  I am actually very thrilled about the sound this speaker produces but i'll start with the setup.
  Speaker setup was flawless - you connect to your speaker by wi-fi with phone or mac and you set it up to connect to your home network and it's ready to be used! No volume controls, no buttons and thank goodness no remotes or dock connectors - i don't want another remote in my house! you can control it by iPhone/iPad/Mac, etc - easy!
  Sound quality is impressive! It is very meaty and crisp - it produces more bass than i expected! i suggest you download libratone app for your iPhone so you can setup sound - it makes huge difference, you can go from natural to customized sound setups which NOTICEABLY will be heard. This speaker is louder than i thought - i actually haven't tried to turn it all the way up because i am afraid my neighbors will go nuts, about 3/4 of the volume is plenty in my living room.
  
  now i am thinking of getting another one or two to put them all around my house so i can have even sound all around the house.
  
  Black/Blueberry color is ok while it probably will fit with most rooms/designs i think i will wait for the gray or natural colors before ordering another one, personally i am not a big fan of this particular color since most speakers are black i am simply tired of same black color. … More (Read full review)

  I have tested and tried multiple wireless speakers, and the speakers (I bought both the small and the large one) from Libratone ar e simply amazing - not only in design - but in sound! I was sick and tired of remote controls, and my wife of clumsy amplifiers and cables. This is why we went wireless. This sleek design matches our home perfectly (the cover is actually cashmere!!), and the fact that we can control the music with our iDevices is just.. need and _very_ simple! :)
  
  My only issue is that I cant get the speakers in red. I really wanted that. I can see on the libratone website that they have speakers in other colors in other stores. Would have liked that. … More (Read full review)

  I'm the kind of person that almost always feels a bit of buyer's remorse. However, I don't feel any with this speaker. It's smal l form factor takes up very little space next to the TV. We find it's cloth exterior is pleasantly non techy, which makes it's wireless features that much more surprising. AirPlay set up was very simple. The sound quality is great to my ear; which is something we've struggled with in this large, high ceilinged, and brick walled room. We've had totally stable playback with no dropped signal.   I should have known when the bloke in the apple shop in Covent Garden couldn't make it work. It is an ugly slug of valueless anno yance. It won't work. £329 donation to the recycling. Big shame as when it does work the sound is great, but completely unreliable and only for those with computer science masters.

  This is great speaker overall.
  1, Excellent midrange and treble, resolution is high, sound is clear.
  2, Modern design is very e asy to blend in your room, the cashmere wool cover brings out some warmth. But the fit and finish is not good at all.
  3, Just need one power cord, no extra remote or cables, setup is minimum and easy.
  4, I personally love the little nightingale logo glowing white in the dark.
  5, The bass of this speaker is not strong, but enough.
  6, The fullroom feature is one of a kind, it really helps the speaker to reach its full potential regardless of the layout of the room or the location you place it.

  This speaker produces great sound. It was easy to set up and works great across all my devices(iPhone, ipad, macbook, iMac). It al so works great when friends are over and want to show you some new music they have on their phone, just select the speaker and they can play from their phone. Very clean sound, I found using the voicing optimization app actually makes a big difference depending on the speaker placement. Overall I'm very happy with this speaker, there have been about 4 times (over a year period) where I've had to reset it to make the connection work. I would give it 5 stars if this hadn't happened. To be fair though, it could have been a network problem and not the speakers fault.
