I bought these about 5 months ago, and i don't regret the price one bit, I instantly fell in love when i put them on and i noticed a sound difference as soon as i turned them on. Recommendation? Definetley buy these! I use them daily and they are still working as good as the day i put them on, pure awesomeness!

all a name.. the quality is seriously lacking as well as the clarity and balance... these are more like $120 headphones if that.. I do not know how the 2 reviewers above me thought these were better than the bose or B&O or the B&W in the same price range.. they all sound soo superior it isn't even funny. I suggest you go to the apple store and listen to them side by side.. These headphones are a joke at a $200 price point let alone $300.

Beats are great for average consumers

If you did not know - Beats By Dre recently split with Monster Cable, their manufacturer. Now, from July 2012, Monster is not even mentioned on any Beats product now.

This review is in my opinion.

The Beats Studios are great over-ear headphones. Some people may complain because it is very expensive, compared to other headphones, but it does deliver great sound, not the muddy sound from the Beats Solos. The Studios are quite large, they have huge ear-cushions, although they are very comfortable. They also require two AA batteries, which can cost the buyer heaps if they use their headphones daily. The design of the headphones are really cool. They come in many different colours. The Studios come with two thick red cables which are 'tangle free.'

I believe that the Beats Studios are great headphones and deliver the right sound for average consumers. It may be expensive, but you will regret once you buy it. If you are looking for other headphones with a cheaper price tag, i suggest Audio Technica or Sennheiser.

These headphones are incredible! I have owned countless numbers of Bose, Panasonic, Skullcandy, and every other type of headphones that anyone and everyone has recommended, but the sound in these Beats just has so much more dimension than any of the others I have owned. They sound great, and look fantastic too! However, there is one flaw that is minor for me but may be major for others, and that is that they leak a lot of sound. For some reason, the design amplifies the sound to the outside environment, and it can get really loud, even at 50% volume. If you use headphones in public spaces a lot this may be an issue, but it isn't for me. My one other minor gripe is that the side of the headphone wire that goes into the headphone jack on my iPhone is L-shaped, making it difficult to use with some thicker cases. Try these headphones out! They are top-notch quality, though a bit pricey, and a fantastic pair of headphones despite a couple of minor flaws!
