does this display really accept 1920x1080? if i were to get the correct adaptor can a 1080p device work with this?

the specs say they do but i need to be 100% SURE!

  • Currently there is no such adapter available. The LED Cinema Display requires a displayport connection. If you connect a Mac or PC via displayport, any 1.080p source can be scaled-up to fit the higher resolution of your LED Cinema Display.
