Can I share iWork documents with Microsoft office on a PC ?

I have recently discovered that iWork is better than Microsoft office. I want to get a Macbook but need to be able to share documents with PC users. Can I do this with iWork or should I get Microsoft office for Mac?

    You can share items from iWork with PC users by clicking "share" and then export. A menu will drop down and allow you to select the format you wish to share your work with (.doc, PDF, RTF...etc).
    It is important to note that in some cases special formatting can be lost in translation from iWork to MS Office, usually this is minor and rarely effects the content of the shared document.
