Do I need to download Audiobooks.com before I can purchase and download an audio book?

  No necessarily. You can have an account online and download your audiobooks, but if you want to access everything directly from your iPhone then yes you will need to download the application first and then purchased your items.

• If you want audiobooks from that service, then yes; however, audiobooks are offered in iTunes.
