The iP9 is ready to entertain you, wake you or ease you to sleep. And the brilliant sound from its Reson8 technology is just the beginning. Ordered this device to put it in my bed room as charge dock and alarm/wake up unit but also to take along when traveling.
Got it today and I am impressed with the sound. Both treble and bass is powerful and the 3D effect EQ does the trick spicing up the MP3 files from iPod or iPhone. Radio receiver is very good... I didn't even have to fold out antenna to receive clear signal.
The alarm/clock settings are easy to operate and you have two possible alarms. You chose if you want to wake up listening to buzz, radio or iPod/Phone music.
All in all a very cool device which I can only recommend. The reason I can't 5-star this product is due to feeling of buttons and turn knobs. A bit too plastic like when you are used to Apple products :-) …More134 of 138 people found this useful

Good but very expensive

This is a very nice radio alarm clock with ipod functionality but it is seriously over-priced. It is worth about 50-60 euro. The sound is very good but I wouldn't say great- bass is somewhat lacking. The remote is very handy and it is a handsome product. There are only 6 preset channels for the radio and when you are going through the channels, from 1-6, if you hesitate on any one channel, say to check what song it is, when you try to move on to the next channel you have to start again from channel 1. There are no buttons on the radio to flick between songs on the ipod without using the ipod itself. This is annoying and inconsistent (as there is a play/pause button) and more importantly, given the way the ipod stand up out of the product with nothing behind it you have to hold the ipod while pressing skip for fear of damaging the connector thing it sits in. A good, albeit hugely overpriced, radio alarm clock. You would be far better off just buying a regular radio alarm clock and a separate Boss Sound Dock. …More

Plastic and boomy

First gripe: the item arrived without an AM aerial so I couldn't listen to MW stations. Overall the unit feels cheap and plasticky by Apple standards, and the sound is fairly basic too, lacking sharpness and being quite hissy. Luckily I didn't have to pay for it - as a result of some miserable service from Apple support, they offered me some money to spend in the store in compensation. I bought this a year ago for my wife after she saw it and liked the look of it, but she's stopped using it now as it doesn't play back her iPod music with any crispness. …More
