Using the Fitbit dashboard you can track your progress on your Mac or in real-time on your iPhone, with easy-to-read graphs and charts, and progress towards your goals rewarded with badges. You can even enlist your friends and family to help you reach your fitness goals by sharing your stats and challenging a group to a competition with the seven-day leaderboard challenge. Love the tracking of our days activities, steps, stairs and food.
The night tracking could be more precise, like the Jawbone Up.. Love the tracking of our days activities, steps, stairs and food.
The night tracking could be more precise, like the Jawbone Up.... How long it takes to fall asleep, light sleep, deep sleep and how many times you wake up...
The Fitbit one only sees how long to fall asleep, awakened xx times and frankly not very precise. But if you are snoring this will count as waking up??? But if you are on the other side of the coin and you don't move to wake the snoring person then you have night without awakenings???
Between the 3 I tried the fitbit is the best so far. Can't wait to see who will make a better one.
    Looking to get the scale.
Also, not enough compatibility with Android or non-Bluetooth 4.0 devices.

It is accurate and works really well, the app for the iphone is very easy to use and if your serious about wanting to lose weight this product can be of great assistance. I found the clip to be stronger than expected and have wore it every day and night for the past 3 months. The battery lasts for over a week and its a great motivator.

The pedometer works just fine as long as you don't wear it with the wrist band, in which case it will over state steps. The flight of stairs tracking is way off. If I go directly up and down the stairs, it will register accurately. If, however, I make a side trip outside or to do a chore, it usually won't register the flight at all. Yesterday I counted going up and down stairs 18 times, and it registered 4. I have just given up on this feature. The other problem is Active Minutes. My Fitbit One wasn't tracking Active Minutes accurately. Jogged on the treadmill for 30 minutes and it showed 7. After several e-mails with Fitbit, their solution was to enter the Active Minutes manually into my log. Really? If that is their answer, I might as well use Excel. As for losing it, I did lose it when I wore it on my belt (fortunately in my car so I found it). Now I wear it on my bra and have no problems. Works for girls anyway.

It spurred me on to raise my game and increase my daily step total from around 5,500 to 10,000 a day. Now achieving 10,000 steps most days and noticing a slow and steady weight loss because the calories burned are cancelling out the calories I consume. It's easy to use and you can link up with friends which again helps motivation.
The customer service is amazingly efficient. They were quick and extremely positive with their feedback and in my experience they were more than helpful when I lost my tracker. Can't sing their praises highly enough. Go get one.

I wanted to know more about my activities, calories burned and my sleep pattern, so I have this one a shot.
Setting it up was extremely easy, it does NOT come with a manual, everything is online available these days. I connected right away with the iPhone app. Only thing I still don't understand, it chowed steps taken before I even started using it. But so what.
I clip it to my t-shirt of bra strap and it doe not bother me, it is actually much smaller than I thought. The wristband for the night is a total joke. The material is nice soft, but putting it on is a struggle, because you have to kind of hold it and close the Velcro at the same time, not easy if you have nobody to assist you. But I read the Q & A section on the website, and a lot of users suggest to put it on your ankle, which I will try tonight. The sleep tracker told me this morning that it took me 9 minutes to fall asleep, and that I slept 4 hours and 57 minutes, the details do not show much movement, so I must be a quiet sleeper.
I think the step counter is a little off, just by walking through the house this morning doing my daily chores shows I walked over 500 steps already, really? Well, maybe it is correct.
I like this little thing, it gives you a little insight about activities. I will set the alarm feature for tonight and see how the vibrating alarm works when I wear it on my ankle.
