    This is awesome!!!

I picked-up two of these (one red, one black) at an Apple Store and they are really great.

Fits super comfortably, quick and easy to clip and unclip nano, totally secure.

Have been at the gym with it and it works brilliantly but unlike the first nano wrist strap i bought this one actually looks stylish enough to wear with a suit or out at night. Also really liked the minimalist look as some of the products i looked at were really bulky with lots of rubber or steel around the nano covering it up.

    Highly recommended!

    Not bad..

    • Written by from Coteau du Lac

    Got this yesterday ...
Straightforward easy installation. Clip & unclip...
The strap is super soft..very nice.

The bad part is that you will need a dremel tool to smooth out the plastic part that holds the Nano. ALL the corners and ALL the edges and joints were super sharp.
I spent 15 minutes with the tool..and just polished it.

Imho..the nano and all apple products have ultimate fit & finish. So out of the box this is not on spec with what apple pumps out quality wise.

The design comes right from Bell & Ross..to my eyes at least.
Make a special edition ..aluminium holder..same bracelet....and don't forget to polish the edges.

    Excellent!

I've only had this band for one day, so I can't give much of an opinion vis-a-vis durability yet, but I echo the other comment here -- this band turns the nano into a classy, sharp-looking watch. It turns the nano into a sleek, low-profile time piece with the added benefit that it can carry a ton of tunes and photos -- James Bond for sure.

With the caveat that, as I said, I've only had it for one day, I WILL say that the construction seems durable, and, in fact, there are some smart design features. For instance, the pins that connect the band to the "mount" each have a little prong sticking up (but not far enough out that it will stick you), so that if you need to remove part of the band, it's easy to do by just hooking your fingernail on the prong to depress the spring-loaded pin (unlike with most watches, where it's a total pain to try to compress the connector pin). The clip-in design is also fantastic -- it keeps the nano/watch very low profile and seems extremely secure. Honestly, you can't even tell it's a nano -- it looks like a one-piece watch you'd buy straight from a store.

All of that said, I don't think most women are going to find this band all that great -- it strikes me that the nano is just too big for most women's wrists (not to be sexist, mind you). To see whether you like the look, turn the nano sideways, so that the volume/sleep buttons are on the right and the dock connector is on the left, and hold it up to your wrist. That's what it's going to look like.

This will be great not only for working out and going out, but for everyday use as a watch, as well. Couldn't be happier so far.

    Very good but to exposed.

    • Written by from New York

This watch band is really good, it looks good, and it keeps the iPod from falling. It is also very comfortable for travelers because it has easy access to all of the buttons and commands. The only bad thing is that it leaves the iPod too exposed. However this problem is fixable if you buy a screen protector to cover the screen. Other than that, it works great! More

    Nice but broke

    • Written by from Tampa

The look and feel of this watchband is great. Light, comfortable, and nice looking...on the downside, it broke after 3-4 weeks of usage. the plastic band tore open where the metal rod holds it against the iPod base. More

    Stylish, Sturdy, Superb!

    • Written by from Balgownie

This is a great product! Despite some bad reviews I went ahead and purchased this product and am so glad I did! I've used it almost everyday for two months and in some extreme weather conditions and the product is as good as new! Now my watch is the envy of all my friends and co-workers! The aluminium components also seem quite sturdy and the clipping mechanism is ingenious!

So in my opinion, you can purchase without fears and knowledge that you'll have a state-of-the-art watch!

Currently, there is no function to disable sleep mode. It will dim after 20 seconds and turn off after 40 seconds. Hopefully there will be an update soon to be able to lock it into clock mode. The reason for this is to preserve battery life. More

The watch only comes on when you press the power button. After 20 seconds the display dims and then 40 seconds later it switches off.
Therefore, only a tiny amount of power is being used.
I have a 16GB Nano. After a full charge, and without using it as a music player at all, the battery lasted 4 days exactly (96 hours) until the battery meter turned red.
It last a further 52 hours until the Nano stopped responding and asked to be attached to a power source.
I pressed the button to view the watch screen about fifteen times per day.
So in total, on a full charge you'll get just over 6 days of use as a watch, without using it for music.

NO. The ipod nanon is exposed as it would be if you were wearing it on you. The wristband just allows you to have a different way of wearing it. More
