Bought one, DOA. Returned to Apple (by the way no problem with return..kudos to apple!!). received replacement today. DEAD!! Have 4 LaCie HDs...no problems. AVOID!!!!!

Solid, well built external hard drive

Excellent external harddrive - well built - worked straight out of the box. Built in USB hub is very handy too. Power brick is a little large but that's out of sight on the floor under the desk. USB and FW cables are a little short or my liking.
Haven't tried the supplied Retrospect Express backup software yet - Backup from .mac works just fine for me and does all I need at the moment.483 of 602 people found this useful
