A must have for online publishing

I initially came across this software as a free give-away in a magasine... and after using it for about a day decided to upgrade to the lastest paid version.

This software is as easy to use as iWeb, but offers much more flexibility, plus the option to jump right in and create entire pages from scratch using HTML.

Works well on smaller Macs - I am using it on a 1.66GHz Mac Mini - and creates high-standard, modern and professional-looking websites within minutes.

Note - the .Mac publishing uploads to your FrontPage area, not your iWeb area (so you end up with homepage[dot]mac[dot]com/mywebpage instead of web[dot]mac[dot]com/mywebpage), so if you already have a HomePage uploaded, it will be over-written.

    Would reccomend it for anyone

    Stunning!

RapidWeaver is great for just about everyone. It's theme system allows people to easily swap and change themes whenever they choose. Alternatively if the user wants more control, they can. Users can create their own themes or edit others.

Many page styles allow users to easily control their blog, photos, movies and other pages. With the addition of 3rd party plugins and themes, like Blocks, Accordion, LockDown, and RapidBlog makes RapidWeaver a must buy.

    Simple but effective Web Authoring

If you are wanting to build a presentable web site without having to write lots of code in html, javascript, css etc then this is the tool you need.

It is intuitive and simple but very powerful too. You can extend the capabilities with tools from "YourHead" and other vendors and if you can write html, javascript, css, php etc the it is limitless.

This costs less than $100 so what is there to lose.

    Unusable product

This software may well be a fantastic web tool - I'll never know. The edition I ordered from the Apple Store doesn't come with a license key, it comes with an 'exchange code'. You have to log in to a German website to get the license key to make the software work. Except the URL leads to an error 404 page. In German. Marvelous. Unless you happen to read German (required in order to navigate the website) AVOID.
