Reviews for Apple iPhone 4 Bumper - Pink

I got these bumpers and i dropped my phone on the flat ground and now the back it shattered. And, the part where the bumbers are around have a little scratch after 2 days of use. literally. don't get this!

The Bumper is great looking and functional. It is simple and all functions of the iPhone are not negatively impacted. Mine is orange and really accents the look of the black iPhone. The function buttons are extended with the Bumper
which are built into it.

I haven't had any issues with the bumper - it's a perfect fit and it's protected my phone for the last 6 months each time it's thrown in my handbag. Only after reading the other reviews have I now taken it off to lok at the aluminium and there appears to be no scratches or problems. I droopped the phone last week on to hard concrete outside and it just bounced. Thought I'd done damage and it was perfect so I'd recommend this product. I do have an issue with price though because I think it's way too expensive for what it is.

Have no idea why everybody's complaining about this product. Have had the iphone 4 almost a year and this was one of my first purchases, does exactly what is says on the packet! it has a soft rubber edging which jazzes up the iphone(i have 3 diff colours) it also protects from drops/falls and has a hard back to protect from nasty scratches. I must admit that i do have a couple of scratches on the silver bit on the side of the phone but by god what do you expect when its in your pocket or in your handbag or constantly being played with??

I got the black bumper the day of the iPhone 4 launch, and I was later reimbursed for the $29 because Apple was refunding the cost due to an antenna issue at that time. My bumper still looks new and there is no discoloration that I can see. I put a Zagg film on the front and back of the phone and the bumper covers the edges. I have dropped my phone, but this little bumper prevented any damage. I don't have any problem with charging the phone either, so it must just be with the Verizon phones that this is an issue. I agree, though, that $29 seems a bit much to pay, but I've read that cheaper copy-cat versions may look the same, but soon start to fall apart.

I have had the black one since day one and just got a blue one. Has been perfect no issues at all, the black one is great condition.

You don't have to take the case off to charge it if you are using the official Apple power adapter.

Yes the metal has 'scared' but that is what happens to aluminium over time in dusty environments.

I would always say go for the bumper as it keeps the look and feel of the iPhone and gives it some nice colours.

The iphone chargers DO NOT fit when the bumper is on the phone.. just a tip... apple needs to fix that... might just be for verizon phones but still no good :)

I have gone through as many Verizon iPhone cases that are out there and have not been satisfied with any of them. I finally broke down and bought the hot pink bumper and it is definitely the best case/cover that I have found for this phone. It keeps the overall size of the phone very similar to the actual size of the phone-no bulk or added size. I have dropped the phone a few times and it keeps the phone safe-no knicks or scratches.
I have an iHome that I dock it into at night to charge and I dont have to take the bumper off at all...my only complaint is that it does get a little dirty on the rubber part of the pink, however I love the case and will definitely stick with this one over any of the others I have purchased in the past.
