    Great Mouse

    • Written by from Vancouver

This mouse is great. it is very easy to use and although some people have written reviews saying otherwise, i think it is very comfortable for your wrist because it is not as high as some other devices. it moves around smoothly, and works even on a white counter top. i would say that the only problem with it, especially when you first get one is that it is sometimes hard to click it to do what you want, like if you are trying to left click, sometimes it right clicks instead, but that was only happening to me for the first little while. overall i would say that this is a very good mouse and i would definitely recommend it.

    Give it time!

    • Written by from Louth

Be patient with getting to know how the mouse works, it will soon become the best mouse you've ever used! Flawless design that lets you do more than enough using simple gestures. Battery life did become a bit of a pain but i soon fixed that by using a magic charger or Apple rechargeable batteries.

Remember its like buying your first Mac again, at first you don't know how anything worked, but it soon became the best decision of your life!

    Peace!

    Perfect mouse for left handers

    • Written by from Ealing

Actually I'm ambidextrous and like to share the use between left and right hand to avoid arm strain. I found this Mouse a little strange at first but quickly got used to it. This Mouse is perfect because I don't have to make any adjustments other than to move the mouse from the left to right hand side. No complaints at all.

    Best Apple Mouse Yet

    • Written by from Plymouth

I love this mouse! I have been looking for a mouse that is big enough and comfortable for me since most wireless mice are small and I have pretty big hands. I am also a graphic designer and this mouse works perfectly for me I have had no problems making anything with it.

    incredible!

    • Written by from petitcodiac

I was fortunate enough to have an awesome man at Jump+ demonstrate the majority of the gestures this mouse is capable of. it is so easy to use, and I can honestly say it is the best mouse I've used. I also love that it is not too chunky of a mouse, and the battery seems to keep for quite some time ( if you remember to turn it off, of course!) Very impressed, would recommend.

Feels as good as it looks!

    • Written by from New Canaan

I LOVE this mouse! It feels so good, and it moves around so freely. I got the mouse with my 2013 retina mbp, and I have never regretted that buy. (Actually I got it for free, due to the black friday deal.) Also, the touch controls are amazing, and flawless. This is one of the better Apple purchases I've made, and I reccomend this mouse to people who are looking for a good, effecient mouse.

    Excellent!

Me and my wife we are using magic mouses for a year.
We are using them to work at home, not for gaming.
There is no better mouse to work! Gestures are great addition to basic functionality.
Battery life is ok for us. I know that some people complains on short battery life, but years ago i was using logitech air mouse and in logitech one full charging gives only 4 days of working. So apple's one is not so bad as other people are writing :)

    They finally nailed it!

    • Written by from San Francisco

I have used every Apple mouse over the past 15 years, and plenty of 3rd party mice from Logitech, Microsoft, and others. I'm happy to say that with the new Magic Mouse they have finally struck the balance between comfort, usability, and beauty. I don't use a mouse pad, and the Magic Mouse tracks quickly and precisely sitting on my desk directly. The low-profile form makes it very comfortable to use, as I am able to keep my hand in a natural position with the base of my hand resting on the desk.

The scrolling is incredibly smooth, left and right clicks work great, and the gestures for forward and back pages make it a real pleasure to use. It takes a little getting used to coming from a different mouse, but it soon became extremely natural, whether I'm surfing web pages or even precision editing with Photoshop.

The clean and modern "buttonless" design is elegant and unassuming, even changing the batteries is frictionless.

    Excellent despite many dubious reviews

    • Written by from Bentonville

I spent the better part of an afternoon browsing reviews on this mouse, and saw many complaining of the mouse being unusable or uncomfortable. I finally went to Best Buy and picked one up, and I have to say, I absolutely love it. In fact, I'm typing this on the wireless keyboard I was researching as well. I'm very impressed with both devices and I highly encourage those on the fence about it to go and try one at Best Buy or an Apple store, you won't be disappointed!

P.S. the right click works perfectly for me! I was worried about Apple for a minute reading these reviews, but they clearly have hit it out of the park again, very intuitive device!

    Excellent product!

I am not sure what the negative reviews are about but this is an excellent product and works great with my MBA. I use it on a hard desk surface and have not any issues with friction and I also adjusted tracking in the preferences to my liking.

Very good mouse for Macbook pro!

    • Written by from Monterey Park

I LOVE this mouse! I feel like it works great with my new Macbook pro with Retina Display. I read some of the other reviews on how the mouse would disconnect with the bluetooth on the computer, but I haven't had that problem occur it. I'm not sure if it will happen later on or not, but I have had the mouse for like 3 weeks and I feel its great. Its so easy and multipurpose. One thing i like is that you don't need a mouse pad! I don't know about you guys, but when i use a mouse pad it takes up like half the space on my desk. But this magic mouse doesn't need one! So convenient. Just a great mouse to use and play with.

    This mouse is Sexy!

    • Written by from Louisville

Don't know any other way to put it. It is curved in all the right places... I looked at it and thought uh oh.. no scroll wheel... but then I tried playing with it. Scroll wheel NOT needed... you can simply swipe the top of it like an iPhone and iPad.

Personally this is the best mouse I have ever experienced... and I suspect apple will eventually top it... they are good at that. But until then no one makes a better mouse!

    good multi-touch pointer device

    • Written by from Hope Valley

Looks good and multi-touch works well, even it's not very comfortable to hold and easy to stain on side it still worth a 5 out of 5. If anyone found out the mouse keep drop out connection, I have two suggestions: 1, use a actual Mac with Mac OS X 2. use a 5Ghz wifi connection or just buy a Apple router.
Just dropped and broke mine few days ago, really wanna get another one, anyone dislike it please go to ebay or gumtree :))

    Excellent

    • Written by from Cramlington

Brilliant, very accurate, very comfortable, very configurable. Last week I replaced my recently-deceased PC with a Mac and got the wireless magic mouse included. I am used to an expensive (UK £100 or thereabouts) Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse on the PC. The mouse in my PC system had separate buttons for forward, back, open browser, zoom +/-, scroll, left click, right click, etc. including a scroll wheel with a left and right nudge function. It took ages to get to grips with all the buttons on the Logitech, but I did eventually love it, and I thought I couldn't live without it when it died along with my PC. But after a week or so, in my opinion, the Apple mouse feels way more intuitive, way cleverer, and way prettier of course. And does everything the expensive Logitech did, and I think more, but with less visible buttons etc.. And seems more accurate, to me. And I learnt how to use it seamlessly, intuitively, quickly, efficiently, without thinking, within a couple of days. IMHO Anyone who tells you this isn't a great useable device is probably a mac-hater here to diss Apple in favour of some cr*ppy pc. I, on the other hand, will never ever go back.

    Apple magic mouse awesomeness!!

    • Written by from Grand Haven

I was looking for a new mouse and i had already owned a Logitech mouse, it was a good mouse but i wanted to be able to use all the features that mac os offers. So i bought the apple magic mouse, best decision ever it is such a great mouse i use it for photo and video editing and other uses, the mouse is easy to use and really easy to set up just turn it on, turn on the bluetooth and you are done. I have had the mouse for 4 months and i use it everyday for at least 2 hours and it is still at 47 percent battery, and i haven't changed out the battery since i got it. I would recommend this mouse to anybody, thanks apple for making another awesome product.

    Simply perfect for simple functions

    • Written by from Chicago

I've used this mouse for almost 4 months after years of using wired Apple mouse(es)/mice.

It works perfectly for me. Battery life is great, bluetooth connectivity is great and I particularly love the scrolling function.

Granted, I am only using this for relatively basic functions - web-browsing, emails, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, minor iMovie editing and random gaming.

After reading the multitude of negative reviews, and having 20+ years of experience using many different mouse types, I can only suggest that perhaps this is a mouse that requires a gentle touch.
It does not appear to be designed to be heavily grasped. Your hand/fingers should hover above for best functionality. This is contrary to other mouse devices that encourage the user to closely "hold" or "cover" the device in the palm of the hand. The Magic Mouse functions best with VERY light touch, almost a slight hovering.

If you don't feel that making these physical adjustments are comfortable for you, don't buy this product. There's a multitude of other products available that will serve your needs.

If you can adjust, go ahead and buy it. The design, interface and functionality are superb - as long as you are prepared to tweak your previously learned "heavy handed" approach.

I love it! Good luck with your choices.
