    Very bad start

    The first Pegasus 2 arrived with a dead drive. Days and weeks of trying to deal with promise support from Taiwan was extremely painful. And their online support system is just mind boggling as another reviewer mentioned. Promise even logged on to my computer twice to try and resolve the dead drive despite me stating the obvious, its DEAD, and the Promise Utility says so too.
    They initiated an RMA and said I had to cover costs to post it to an Australian address. I refused and called Apple who promptly replaced it. Now, a week later, I cannot initialise the system. 6 times i have tried. I cannot get it past 64% and that takes at leaf 10 hours to get to that point, then you have to start again once it stalls.. I have the system preferences keeping everything ON in Energy saver.
    I read the Apple description with an angry chuckle...
    "Pegasus2 systems are user friendly and come preconfigured straight out of the box — so you can just plug in and start using."
    This is just a straight out lie.
    If it ever works I am sure it will be great, nice and fast, but its infinitely slow right now and my anger grows by the day.

    The connection is unstable between R12 and iMac

    My R12 storage is good but the connection is unstable, it will disconnected from the iMac sometime and need to reboot the Mac to reconnect it, too bad.
