The vents in in my car are curved to match the dash curve. When using the mount the iPhone leans back and catches the sun. A little more extension out from the vent and maybe a ball swivel would help. I think it will be easy to make a little sunshade from a 3x5 card. Maybe a cold air shield too. More worrisome is the warm air that will be sucked into the cold iPhone when you remove it, bringing moisture condensation on the cold components inside.
Excellent design and works as advertise except one big problem.

The horizontal movement on my middle front vent was damage on my Dodge Carvan. The Kenu Airframe is will design and works as advertise but you have use it with care. Be careful where you position it. On a vertical vent blade it slide up and down if you have the iPhone held horizontally and removing the the iPhone with one hand which a bad habit of mine. Because I keep removing with one hand it keep sliding down eventually breaking off the piece of plastic that control the horizontal movement disappearing down the vent leaving all the vent blades loose. I learn a costly lesson, use two hands and make sure it in the vertical position when removing the phone. Better yet remove the mount from vent blade with the iPhone still mount them remove safely remove form the mount.
