Tired of my colleagues complaining about the terrible voice quality they would hear when using my iPhone headset, I decided to shell out the $100 for the Voyager bluetooth headset. Unfortunately the voice quality (what the listener on the other end hears) is not very good. I get people saying I sound robotic and digitized. I always have the phone on my desk and am rarely more than 3 feet away from the phone so I don't know what could account for the terrible voice quality. As far as how they sound to my ears, they sound decent but not nearly as good as just putting the phone up to my ear - which is exactly how I'll have to make phone calls from now on once I return this device back to the Apple store from whence it came. Disappointed.
Just got mine via company issue. Initially features look nice, but the singular most important killer app for me is the old Voyager Pro's ability to access the iPhone's built in voice recognition with the press of the earpiece button, and say "Call the office" (all without any configuration). Very disappointing that there seems to be no way to bypass the Legend's own voice commands to get to the IOS voice recognition, other than reach for the iphone, which is illegal while driving.
