    Fun while it lasted.

    • Written by from ORLANDO

Sounded great, and the wireless functionality was awesome. After three months of careful use, the cheap plastic headband cracked. Too late to return to apple, so I had to go to the manufacturer for help. They said their warranty doesn't cover cracks of any kind. I sent them in anyways to see if I could at least PAY for a repair. They said absolutely not, and there is nothing they can or will do and sent them back to me. 300 bucks down the drain. I will never buy another Beats or Monster product again.

    • Written by from Rogers

I can't believe this great sound on a bluetooth headset great bass, and overall worth the amount paid for them. For those asking for the 3.5mm headphone jack cables yeah they are included and not only one it came with two sets one regular and other with "Beats Control Talk" buttons. I'm happy with my purchase :)

    Great Headphones

    • Written by from Scarsdale

The sound on these headphones is stunning. It has great bass, and decent mids and highs. The battery life is great. The convenience of wireless is perfect. If I need to get something across the house, I can keep my headphones on while doing so. I only wish they were plug-in as well so that I wouldn't always have to use Bluetooth, like on a plane. But overall, wonderful headphones.

Note iOS6 compatibility issues before buying!

    • Written by from Granite Bay

First let me say that I love these headphones and I would recommend them to Apple users, hence the 5 star rating. However at the moment, ever since iOS6 launched there have been troubling issues with the connection (and with all other bluetooth devices according to other iOS6 users). They will now drop the connection, distort the beginnings of songs. The device still thinks its playing, but no audio streams. I hope apple will update the iOS ASAP. I also hope that this post helps people considering these headphones

    Defective product

    • Written by from COQUITLAM

I bought these about 5 months ago and as another reviewer stated they cracked. The headband near the hinge just snapped off while I was taking it off my ears.

I'm dealing with the warranty service now and I'm the one that has to pay for shipping and hassle for there defective product. You can clearly see that his is a design flaw that I hope goes through some kind of class action lawsuit because the price you pay and the product breaking from regular use is absurd.

Hope this helps someone else avoid this issue. Cheers.

Monster beats vs HTC/hp beats "Its like comparing Apples to Radio Shack!"

    • Written by from FREMONT

The old Monster beats blows away the new HTC/ hp beats. Monster has the technology proven by their high performance cables. HTC and hp makes cell phones and computers, so what do they know about quality audio? I tried both Monster beats and HTC/HP beats and there is huge difference in bass.

Good, but must be really carefull...

    • Written by from Paris

As I can see, lots of us have bought them and some month later the headband cracked, I bought them with my money and I am only 15, and I am emailing beats help custom, but I am not getting any answer, as everyone, 4 month later I was really taking care of them but, while I was taking them of my head, they suddenly cracked, they worked for like 2 weeks and suddenly a night they stopped working.
They are really good but I would considere buying theme , if you are lucky the headband wont brake....

    350$ down the drain

    • Written by from milton

Great product and sound, loved the headphones until they snapped 7 months later. Beats only covers damages caused by them meaning if there is something wrong with them as soon as you buy them they cover it. Other than that if something happens you may as well not bother wasting the money to send them in. Girl I talked to said almost every physical damage whether it be accidental or not caused by you gets declined. Several people told me different things about warranty and said they may have a paid service repair in the future which does not help if they decide to add that in 5 years as my headphones sit in my room useless

    Battery lasts forever!!!

    • Written by from Peyton

I have had mine for about two months. I use them when I run on the treadmill. They work really well sound is good, loud enough.. They block out surrounding noise pretty well you have to take them off to hear when someone is speaking to you..  The battery lasts forever, I use mine every other day for two hours and the charge lasts for weeks. They are surprisingly light and comfortable. Very easy to pair. The controls work really well the skip and pause work great with slacker and iPod. It also answers and hangs up phone calls. I have talked on the phone while on the treadmill sounds great.Great product. Its a cross between the Solos and the Studios. They look, fit and sound better then solo's, but not quite studios. The only bad-thing about them is the price.

    Simply Great

    • Written by from Kissimmee

I use I must say these headphones are simply just amazing! I use these headphones for the gym and they work perfectly! I no longer have to worry about getting cables tangled or getting cables stuck. These headphones sound just as good plugged inn as they do when they are wireless. These are the best wireless every day headphones that money can buy

Purchasing these headphones was easy and fast. To my surprise they included not one, but two 3.5 mm cables. One has control talk and the other does not.

I was always apprehensive about getting a pair of Beats due to mixed reviews. However, I was impressed with the quality of these headphones. Wireless or not, the sound quality is great! If your device does not pair well with Bluetooth (or you forgot to charge it), fear not for it comes with a cable. I enjoy listening to classical music with these. The cello (my favorite instrument) sounds deep (great bass) and resonates well. Don't let the popularity of the brand name and the hate of how mainstream it is determine your decision. Try them out yourself and see if it works for you. I'm just sorry I've waited this long. But be aware of the flimsiness.

    Expensive But Worth The Cost

    • Written by from Bristol

The headphones are beautifully presented it it's box. Not knowing much about them was pleased to see the headphones can be used as wireless or wired unit. The sound and build quality is excellent although possibly a little be too much base. The great thing is that appears the headphones can be paired with more than 1 device.

    Mini Review

    • Written by from New York

Like not love the headphones, even though the sound isn't very good. I have a pair of wired Grados and they blow these away sound wise. So why would I like them. The bluetooth freedom is amazing. No wires, no getting tangled up is worth the degraded sound. BTW on my latest IOS on my IPhone 5 the the phone won't answer from the beats. I have to hit the answer button on the phone. Also the control talk cable doesn't answer the phone either, though you can talk through it and hear the music. Bad experience for all that money.

    All nice with small exception

    • Written by from Odessa

Good nice sound quality. Very solid product. Loving it every minute.
Range a bit issue for me, crossing to the next room the sound seem like have a little cut off at times. (within 10m range).
I received the package, the beats packaging box seem a bit shabby. Crumpled at the corner of box. Box inside was like torn. Then the serial number on the box didnt match my headset that made me very paranoid.

Good for music, bad for video

    • Written by from Southampton

Sound quality is pretty good and have been easy to connect to my iPhone, iPad, Mac Mini and MBP.

My only issue is with watching music videos and films on iTunes. Most of the time the sound is not in sync with the video, hence 3 stars.

    In a word, TERRIBLE

    • Written by from New York

Why should I have to change the settings on my iPhone's EQ just to hear my music clearly on a $300 set of headphones?

I understand by the mere fact that a rap legend's name is written on the headphones, that these sets are targeted towards listeners of hip-hop. I listen mostly to jazz and rock, but I also listen to pre-1996 hip-hop (you know, when Dr. Dre was still making good music) and it's not that the bass is so overwhelming that I have to change my EQ settings to Bass Reducer, but everything just sounds muddy (without EQ settings). Like the mids are turned all the way up and everything else is down. You sacrifice the intricacies and nuances of studio production that Dr. Dre himself is known for.

I strongly vote against these headphones. The only thing it has going for it is its aesthetic design, which is sleek, but I cannot condone its complete lack of consideration to the way your music actually sounds through them. They're terrible.

I've been using the Bose QC 15s, but when I wanted to try a Bluetooth headset, I went to these first and returned them within a week. I'm now using the Sennheser MM 500-X. It's not as well-designed as the Beats, but music sounds like HD music in your ears, not muffled noise coming from your neighbor's.

If you're interested low end, muddy, incomprehensible music, congratulations - these headphones are for you.
