Broke after a year or so....

    • Written by from Lower Ealrey

After only a year or so the print head stopped printing black, no way to get it repaired so off to the tip with it. Would not be so bad if I had not spent £25 on a new set on cartridges that in fact we're not needed.

Printer only ever had light usage, I would expect it to last a few years...

Good general printer - Horrible with cardstock

    • Written by from Bellingham

Printer works ok on regular weight paper for most ordinary printing jobs. Scanner is good. Wireless set-up no problem. But if you are trying to print a more complicated document, there are a lot of problems. The printer tends to increase the bottom margin, cutting off any text - even accounting for the lack of full-bleed and compensatory margins. If you want to use cardstock, forget it. The printer handles the paper differently no matter what settings you use. The alignment is squared up only occasionally. If you are trying to align cardstock double-sided, you are out of luck. Even if you manual feed one sheet at a time and print one-side at a time, it is very difficult to consistently get a good print. Seems the printer is designed for the person who only prints generic documents and the occasional photo, not being very concerned with quality or alignment.

    Dont buy!

    • Written by from whitby

Pretty rubbish to be honest, if it worked it would be so cool! Double sided printing, scanning the lot. BUT, nothing works, it just jams every single piece of paper, even the alignment sheet, havn't had one sheet out of it. Dont buy.

Limited features and not Mountain Lion ready

    • Written by from ARNCLIFFE

I bought this on 2 January 2013. It came with drivers for Lion and previous OSX but it was not Mountain Lion ready. Had to visit the HP website to download and install driver for Mountain Lion. Bit of a disappointment for me but a nightmare for anyone who's not savvy with this stuff.
This printer only works on one WiFi system at a time. My wife and I use our iPhones and cannot set it up to work on both simultaneously. Solution: I use the USB cable and she uses her iPhone WiFi. Altogether a bit clunky.
