    Excellent product

    I was searching for so long for the best baby monitor and I found in this product, Easy to install, quality of building excellent, all features are perfect.
    I am using in 3 devices in 3 differents networks and also Mobil phone network and everything it is great video and audio
    Highly recommend.

    It should be brilliant, but it's bad.

    I love all the functions of this baby monitor - light, music, zoom and pan on the camera, microphone, temperature, remote access. All brilliant. However, it just doesn't work. It's horribly unreliable and that's probably the one thing you actually need in a monitor. The apple store were brilliant and replaced and then refunded the two I had problems with. The first had very average connectivity and physically broke the first time I unplugged it and tried to take it away on holiday - the socket the power lead plugs into fell into the device. The battery lasts literally seconds so the device was useless. (I googled the problem - it seems fairly common). The second device failed to connect at all, just gave the constant spinning wheel. I've since bought a different brand and it's really stable, I've never had a problem connecting. But I still miss the features of Withings - it's such a shame it doesn't work.

    Very Bad Product

    we decide to buy this product thinking, its on apple store so i has to be great!!!! but not the case, every time i need to watch mi kid i can`t the wireless conectivity drops every few minutes. Please don`t buy it!!!

    Poor quality, terrible support, disappointed

    The device is slow, the camera does not have good resolution. If you do not have an apple device do not buy it, on its website announcing that is fully compatible with Android. It is a lie, does not work with any Android device.
    Customer support could only recommend me as a possible solution, turn the device off and back on .... if that does not work make a factory reset .... I just bought it!

    Very Happy

    As long as you have monitor set up correctly and have it in an area of your house that gets good WiFi signal, this product works great! We have taken the monitor with us on all our vacations and have never had an issue getting it set up. Did have an small issue with it when power port broke, but had prompt and friendly response from customer service. Would definitely recommend this product!

    Do not buy

    Worked okay for about a year, with numerous alerts (always as night it seemed) that I was disconnected. Then, after about a year, the power cord broke. I had a spare (as Withings does not appear to have spare parts). Then, it just stopped working. For $250, I would expect it would last a little longer, especially when it was well maintained.

    Shape/size is odd.

    Buy a Dropcam. It's less money, and so far works a lot better.

    Stopped working

    Worked fine for about a year. Then my wife's phone wouldn't stay connected to the monitor. She constantly had to reboot the app. Then out of the blue it stopped working all together. Now it gives every error code listed on their website when I try to connect it to our wifi or ethernet connection to the router. Very disappointing for such an expensive device.

    Do not waste your money

    I am fairly apathetic to a products quality if it does what it says it will, I feel compelled however to speak out about this one. This monitor worked for the first 30 days. Then our phones wouldn't connect, then our iPads. Now we have 1 device left that sometimes works to connect. I have reset everything numerous times following instructions on website, nothing worked. We have since downloaded the baby monitor app for $4.99 and use that instead. This product is the biggest POS and infuriating, save your $250.

    Works as advertised

    I was a bit nervous based on many of the other reviews. So I actually purchased the monitor well before baby was due to arrive to test it out. I have been very pleased with results. It has been reliably operating from April to September with only one restart. I speculate that a lot of the connection issues people are having relate problems with their router and potentially inadequate internet speeds. It works well. I am happy.

    Potentially amazing, but actually horrible

    My second monitor has now packed it in again. I've actually been through 3 cables and 2 monitors. For such a high end product it is let down enormously by it's horrible charging design. The micro USB connector and cable combination are so fragile that as soon as you look at it it breaks. It was also a pain to set up on the wifi and I spent a LOT of time configuring it. However, ultimately the product is completely unusable because I can't charge it anymore. I'm not going for a third time to have the same thing happen in a few weeks.

    Always, there is a problem to connect with WIFI!

    The reason why I bought Whithings baby monitore are that I liked the features, design, color and the product.
    Since 2013 when i bought Whithings, I had a chance to used only 5 tines! The reason that Im not using it, is not that I don't wont to use it, but I can't use it because I always have problem to connected it with wifi.
    And the wifi is the reason why i bought this product!

    So before you spend 250.00$, to get a camera compatible with wifi, think twice before you choose this product.

    Withings baby monitor - don't bother

    Terrible battery that only lasted 10min. Poor quality picture. Monitor stopped working after 12 months and 1 week, contacted supplier and manufacturer, neither would assist at all. This monitor is a good idea, but terrible execution. Don't waste your money

    Great Company and Product

    Just wanted to give a shout-out to Withings and your fantastic company: after nearly two years of daily use I was having some trouble with the power port on my Smart Baby Monitor. Customer service was prompt and very easy to deal with - and I will be receiving a new monitor under warranty. Thank you, I'm so happy to continue to use this wonderful device!!

    Horrible product

    I have had my monitor for just over 2 years and have to say it is the worst. Connectivity has always been an issue as has malfunctioning infrared. Technical support is non existent apart from replies to posts on facebook. Now the unit has stopped working all together. Very expensive for only 2 years use.

    Much better than expected and other brands I tested

    Ever since I found my wife was pregnant, I started to look for a baby monitor I could also use with my iOS device and one of my first choices was the Withings Smart Baby Monitor.

    All the bad reviews made me look else where and I started to test other brands, Motorola, Summer Infant, Dropcam, etc.

    I quickly eliminated all brands and my only choice left was the Dropcam Pro which is great, but it doesn't have the temperature and humidity sensors, or the comfort lights or the ability to play music.

    Finally, when all other options disappointed me, I dared to test the Withings Smart Baby Monitor and ordered one through Amazon. As soon as it arrived, I opened it, set it in minuted and loved it from the moment it powered on. No other baby monitored provided the video and sound quality this one did.

    What would I change and why the 4 stars? the mounting option is very limited, but so are all the others. Also, the micro-usb power connection is prompt to fail if you are not careful, it happens on many devices with these power connection.

    Do not read all other feedback, try it for yourself and create your own opinion, I (knocking on wood) haven't experienced all the issues everyone complain about, then again, I work in IT and I know how technology works.

    The connection drops and does not connect again.Stay away from this product

    The connection to the device is lost frequently. So far so good, but the problem is that there comes a time and it does not reconnect. I can not understand how a product designed to monitor your baby may have a fault that so great? I am software developer and I understand that it would be simple to solve what leads me to believe that the company is unreliable.

    Never stays connected more than 24 hours

    Monitor is great when it is connected! But that's rare. I love that I know the temp in baby's room, etc, but it randomly loses connection and I have to go into the room to turn off & back on, sometimes 10 times before it reconnects. I got this for free, from a friend, now I know why!

    dangerous product

    Our smart monitor, disconnects almost every night leaving our child potentially crying undetected. I have already replaced one monitor, believing it to be a fault with an individual unit however it has happened again. We do not have a night that the monitor doesn't disconnect. Not only this, but when it does disconnect the alert is a one off sound (not enough to consistently wake us), it should be an alarm. We have had to replace the monitor with a simple sound only one and cannot trust it at all.

    My wife and I are doctors, we believe this product is dangerous, and it would have left our baby at risk if it were not for us putting in back up monitoring (essentially another monitor).
