Reviews for Moshi Mini DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter

As with all the other reviewers, my Moshi adapter broke about 4 months of extremely minimal use. DO NOT BUY!

Not worth the $35 bucks I spent on it. Worked just fine for about two months until it straight up died. Not worth the money at all. Go get a mini DP to HDMI cable and skip the need for an adapter all together.

Apple, look at the reviews, Have a look at how many 'failed product' complaints are written here, how can you sell a faulty product like this? you are supposed to be one of the best corporations in the world.

THIS IS THE WORST PRODUCT I HAVE EVER PURCHASED AND I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER MOSHI PRODUCT EVER AGAIN. DO NOT BUY THIS! I READ THESE REVIEWS BEFORE I PURCHASED THIS THING 6 MONTHS AGO, BUT I TOOK MY CHANCE. I WISH I HAD OF LISTENED TO ALL THE NEGATIVE FEEDBACK. NOW I AM LEFT UNHAPPY AND 50 DOLLARS OUT OF POCKET, IT WORKED OK FOR 6 MONTHS, BUT NOW NO LONGER WORKS AT ALL.

Like other reviewers I have found the adapter is very flakey and needs wiggling around to work properly. Even this doesn't always work. Very frustrating.

It went from working fine to not at all. It was not a gradual or slow transition. It might have died out due to lack of care but I wasn't overly rough with it. Still a piece of junk especially being bought from the Apple store. Off to find a replacement.

worked fine when it was new but after a few months it started to work only intermittantly and only when flexed in a certain position. Now it does not work at all no matter what you do.

like many other people have said, it worked great to start with then started cutting out eventually packed up totally. For the money you would expect a product to work for more than a few months....not happy !

I ordered this w/an HDMI cable for my HDTV. The picture was fantastic! But, alas, I didn't notice the manufacturer's note that this doesn't have sound if I owned a 2009 NacBook Pro, Intel Duo Core. It must be at least a mid-2010 or later. You can check your Preferences under sound - outputs so you know ahead of time. No reflection on the product (more stars if I could hear my audio), but the online store chat people missed this big time.

I bought the HDMI adapter to go with my macbook air. Once I i finally had it setup (getting the audio to work took a while) it work fine for a while. I haven't used much maybe 15 -20 hours in total and then suddenly one day the audio stopped working. All settings are as they should be and the tv has sound from other sources only thing left is the moshi adapter and as far as I can see I'm not the only one with bad experiences with this adapters audio capabilities.
