If you need to extend the length of the Apple Dock Connector to USB Cable simply purchase a USB 2.0 Extension Cable, A/A.

Can the USB cable that came with a 1st Gen Nano be used on a 3rd Generation Touch?
I recently purchased a Touch and noticed that the USB cable that came with the Touch is slightly different than the USB cable that originally came with my 1st generation Nano. Can I use the USB cable that came with my 1st GEN Nano with my Touch?

Will this product work with an older 20GB iPod?
It's a non-color, 20GB iPod I bought in 2006 or 2007, and I need a new USB cable to connect it to my computer. Just making sure this cable is compatible with it before I buy -- thanks!

The white cable stands out and looks odd in many of the configurations I want to use in my house. Is there some reason why I have to buy a black cable (if available) from other than Apple?

an off-branded connector cable, it does

The new 32gb Touch 3rd geneartion appears to have revised pinouts - Do you sell any cables and docks that work with it?

There are no tabs, if you prefer having the connector locked in then buy an older plug, this is the new style (it is just plain easier to use)... Works with older and newer generation ipods/iphones.

I have 2 of these and they keep getting broken near the part that connects to the iPod.
