Can I use this on my ipod touch first generation?
I have a first generation Ipod Touch
and my USB cable like ripped apart
so I need a new one, I wento walmart and they had a USB but
it looked differenf from mine, and the back said it was only for 2nd generation or something...

The end of the cable that came with my 3GS began to separate from the part that plugs into the phone, it still worked but you could see the wires.
The same thing has happened to 2 cables that were replaced at the Apple Store. It's nice that they've been replacing them, but I'd rather just buy a better built cable -- any recommendations? Thanks!

How can I detect my ipod 8gb in my computer?
The computer detects a unknown, Apple mobile device usb drive in the control panel,but not in my computer. It shows up in Itunes, but i want to imort all the songs from that ipod to a new ipod, and it does not show in my computer so i can work from there. How can I find it there?

may i see the specs on the ipod generation 3
i have a ipod 3rd generation that was given to me as a gift i dont have the paperwork for it and i want to know how much music and videos does it hold on the back it says 4GB if this helps? and what is the value of it today, i know it resemblles the ipod classic now its just a little shorter and the classic is more advanced. im trying to decide what to do with this one before i go after the classic. thank you.
