Switching Carrier With Family Plan In-Store
I'm looking at jumping carriers when the iPhone hits the Apple Retail Stores on the 21st. Does anyone know if the staff is able to perform a carrier switch on a family plan in-store? I tried placing the order on the site and it says it couldn't complete the order and try instead at the retail store.

All iPhones include Voice Memos, the stock voice recording app. This app can be used to record sound using the iPhone's built in microphones or an external microphone connected via the 3.5mm headphone jack, such as the microphone on the Apple EarPods. From Voice Memos, you can also play back, delete, and share recordings via text message, iMessage, or e-mail. Since all iPhones include this app out of the box the most economical solution would be the iPhone 4, but the iPhone 5 has the best sound recording quality overall due to the added third microphone next to the camera.

Facetime will need to be turned on in settings-->FaceTime. Once enabled, it is accessed through the contacts app. Select a contact and you will see a facetime button appear. If it does not appear, then that contact does not have facetime enabled.

Notifications for mail when phone is in sleep mode
After 5 min my phone goes into Sleep? mode. How do I know if I have mail without turning it back on to check. I guess I just want to know if there is a notification(like a ring)

You can set the ring tone for mail in Setting-General-Sound. If the phone is on vibrate it will not ring for anything.
You can also set push notifications for mail in Settings-Notifications. You can also set push notifications for only those contacts that you have set as VIP Contacts, to avoid every email you get coming through as a push notification.- Answered by Annie O from Madison
