Best Answerif this is 3rd gen retina iPad or older and you want a Cable you will need the 30pin cable to DVI/VGA/HDMI (whatever your projector supports)
if this is a newer (4th gen) ipad with Lightning you can get a lighting to HDMI adapter but it would be way easier to buy Apple TV and connect that to wifi and the projector then connect your iPad to same Wifi and use the air play mirroring you can do using ipad/iphone and Apple TV- Answered by Michael P from Calgary

Best AnswerI imagine so. Some things are just signature Apple. So in your settings under Brightness & Wallpaper, you should have Auto-Brightness which matches environmental conditions and makes the screen fully visible and useable in any conditions, in this case, sunlight.

AnswerYou should use the lightning to VGA. This will plug in to your smart board and work instantly. For the projector you just need the projector hooked up to a computer and plug in this same adapter to the computer. This will work perfectly.

Best AnswerI have tried it on my iMini, and yes it works...to a degree.
First you need to setup a file structure on your SD card while it's inserted into your Desktop/Laptop.
Create a main folder named>DCIM, then a sub folder inside of it named>100DICAM.
Copy your Image files or Videos in the sub-folder, make sure that your files have an 8-character format such as DSC_1234.mp4 or .jpg.
Once you connect your SD Lightning Connector your Photos/Video Albums will open up, Select and Import the files into your Album. You will have the option to Delete or Keep the Files on the SD Card upon successful transfer.
*you must make sure that your video format is H.264 compliant otherwise it will not play.- Answered by Josh S from Winnipeg
