AnswerTo fully shut off any device you typically need to manually tell it to power down. When the screen goes dark the software is disabling the screen and other features that help to extend battery life but the device is still running so it can more rapidly respond the next time you want to use it.

AnswerYou can get a SIM card from the carrier/network you intend to move to. It would be worth contacting the support team for your desired carrier/network first to see if they support iPad.

Will an Ipad 3 wifi PLUS 3G bought from US work in UK?
If i buy an Ipad3 in America with wifi and 3G will I be able to use in the UK?
I phoned Apple today and the rep told me I would have to sing up to a network when i purchased it in America so I would have to get the Ipad "unlocked". Is this the case?

AnswerI had no problem last year when I bought one for Australian use. I was advised to get wifi plus 3G with no affiliations to AT&T etc.
On my return home, I bought a SIM card , inserted it and have had no worries since.
Make sure you get the box of world wide plugs for electrical connections too!

Best AnswerIn the past, internet games were mostly written in Flash which is a technology the iPad does not natively support. However, over the last few years more and more games have been written in HTML5 which is compatible with iPad. Over time, a large number of great web games will be available. Do a web search for "HTML5 games" to see a few examples.

can you delete built in apps?
I would like to buy an ipad, but don't need or want some of the built in apps. Is there any way to delete built in apps? If not, that is inconvenient and as a consumer I would recommend adding that in on the next generation ipad, ipod touch, and iphone. Thank you.

AnswerI also use Cisco Remote Desktop with a RSA SecurID FOB to connect to my company network. Tried this last summer with an ipad (Ipad 1) and it worked perfectly. WIll be trying it on the new ipad soon...but expect it will work there too.
