Yes, but you must buy an adapter so you can plug the U.S. plug configuration into the German outlets. The MacBook and MacBook Pro operate on the 240-volt European power grid. Apple's conversion kit has multiple adapters for worldwide travel; you only need one of them for Germany and most of Europe (the U.K. is different).
