Will Apple's USB adaptor work with an iMac G5 and OS X 10.3.9? Built in Ethernet is VERY slow - I was hoping to get a boost from a USB Ethernet
Checking the compatibility of Apple's USB Ethernet adaptor with an iMac G5 running OS X 10.3.9 - and wondering what speed would be if it is compatible.

This product will only work with your iMac G5 if the software is upgraded to Leopard (10.5.2 or later).

It probably isn't compatible with 10.3.9, and in addition your existing Ethernet adapter is a 10/100 Mbps adapter already, so this adapter won't be any faster than the one you have.
