Can I connect my Play Station 3 with HDMI cable to Apple cinema display?

This system only supports Apple's DisplayPort connection.
At this time Apple makes no system that supports HDMI. I'm not aware of converters either.
There is hope that the Mac Mini might have an HDMI port in the future for the DVR and Home Audio folks but there are no options at this time.
