Monitors can have 3 different types of connectors on them. VGA is the oldest, DVI is newer, and HDMI is the newest. HDMI is also found on TV sets and DVD players. It is a connector that can transmit video and audio using 1 cable.

VGA is the older and most famous connections used in older LCD TVs and Projectors, while not many Projectors support HDMI.
More TVs support HDMI which is better quality and much of them support VGA.- Answered by Nermine E from Cairo
