with the correct adaptor plug will the standard US recharger cord work in Africa

The recharger A1265 says 100-240 V- does this indicate it will accept dual voltage and be able to safely recharge my US iPhone -as long as we have the appropriate adaptor plug for the wall socket-while we are in Africa. Or is a more sophisticated converter necessary ?
