I want to type a document on myIpad and print at work.
we use Word at work. I was told that I could purchase a program called
pages.

    Pages is a word processor which allows you to create word documents on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. This app can be found at the App Store. It costs $9.99 (US Dollar) for the app. If you are to print directly from the document you wish to print, you can use an AirPrint enabled device to print wirelessly. Furthermore, if you enable iCloud, documents you do can sync over to other iCloud enabled devices. To retrieve documents you have done on PC, you can go to website at iCloud.com and download the documents you done. It will be converted to Microsoft Word.
