  • Yes, first make sure you have IOS 5.0 or later and the latest itunes for Windows (10.5 or later). For windows you need to be running Windows XP or later, Plug in your ipad and on summary tab, choose "sync over wi-fi connection" . and update your settings and then unplug your ipad. You should now be able to sync wirelessly, this will happen everyday automatically. Remember you will need to have itunes running on your computer and the Ipad plugged into an outlet in order for wi-fi sync to work .

  • Yes. For backup, song and movie transfer, loading new apps, etc.

It is not like a network cable, though. The iPad cannot access the PC files or use the PC internet connection or anything like that.

  • Yes if you have a wifi capable PC and the latest version of iTunes and the iPad iOS 5 and above. Keep in mind though that in order to upgrade the iPad OS you would need to be hard wired to your PC and that of iTunes on your PC.

  • The iPad still comes with a 30-pin connector/USB, so you don't necessarily need wireless.

To sync wirelessly, you do need an internet connection on both devices.

  • I'm not sure what you mean if you mean if it could sync to iTunes wireless, then only if you have iOS 5 on your iPad.

  • The dock conector is used to sync your iPad. If you don't have any kind of wireless you would use that to sync any kind of content that you want through iTunes.

You can sync music, videos, apps, books, and almost anything that way. You don't need to have wifi at all.

  • As long as the PC has a USB port, the iPad can be connected to the PC. Hopefully, your PC has access to the internet so that you will be able to create an iTunes account. The iTunes account will allow you to download apps and keep your iPad up to date.

    Hope this helps!

  • Yes, with the cord provided
You can also set up a wireless network from the pc (depending on the pc), don't know the steps off hand, as i do not have a pc. essentially just a home sharing network.
