Good lord...
After seeing the rave reviews here, I expected a lot from this product.
The main palm rest is great...not exactly the best fit, but it still appears to be worth the price. My last laptop had a big spot worn in right there, so I welcome anything that will prevent that.
The part that goes on the trackpad - junk. Instead of feeling smooth like the trackpad, it's rough and gritty feeling...meaning I'm sure it'll get nasty looking with my finger dragging over it for 5-6 hours every day. On top of the gritty feel, it hinders the trackpad's sensitivity just a bit. Now when I tap to click, it rarely works on the first try. I'm sure I'll get used to it eventually, but it looks horrid anyway, so I'll probably end up scrapping the trackpad piece.
That brings me to my only other complaint. The pieces aren't an exact fit, so you have try and center the pieces so that the gap is even on each side...otherwise your MacBook will have uneven gaps between touchpad and body....looking like a car that's been wrecked and the door doesn't line up evenly with the body.
Bottom line...it's an OK product and probably worth protecting the palm area from scratches. But five star reviews people? Really? …- Written by Anthony C from Kansas City

Love the product!
I had the Moshi PalmGuard on my previous white MacBook for over a year and a half and I loved it. It kept the palm area clean and unscratched and was extremely easy to install. The material didn't wear in the entire time I used it. I was a bit skeptical about the PalmGuard for the new unibody MacBook because I figured it would be difficult to color-match the material to the aluminum. I decided to give it a shot since I liked the white one so much. So far its been great! It protects the palm area and track pad just like the older version that I had, and despite my skepticism is matches the color perfectly! I highly recommend this product for anyone who is looking to protect their MacBook!

Excellent Product
This Palmguard is amazing! Excellent quality, feels very similar to the aluminium, extremely easy to apply. There are some bad rev iews that I read about the trackpad protector but from my experience it is very responsive. With the glass on the trackpad my fingers would have a lot of friction if my hands were a bit moist, but this does not occur with the trackpad protector and actually feels smoother. And if anyone is worried about this product not fitting with the Speck SeeThru case, don't be! it fits perfectly and doesn't peel or bubble up at the sides. Although its a bit on the pricey side, it is really worth the money if you want to protect your Macbook from scratches or wear. The product is hard to find in stores/apple stores so the best way is to purchase directly from the apple online store, and their service is incredibly efficient and fast. …

Moshi 13" PalmGuard
Macbook Air 2011, 13" screen.
Fits very well and good colour match. Need to remove hard cover if you have one to prevent it lif ting where clips are.
Trackpad cover is not such a good fit and the response of the trackpad when fitted I found to be poor. Have since removed.
Overall the palm guard is good but a little over priced and the trackpad is a little bit of a let down. That said it does provide a nice level of protection to a heavily used area of the Macbook Air. …- Written by Christopher A from ILFRACOMBE

Does this palm protector fit the new MacBook Pro with Retina Display?
- Asked by Andrew W
- 07/07/2012
Best Answer
No, it does not fit the new MacBook Pro with Retina Display. Instead of returning the item, I used a sharp pair of scissors and trimmed it down to size. It's not ideal, but it will protect the laptop until Moshi makes a palm guard specific to the 15" Macbook with Retina Display. The TrackGuard protector is also slightly (a few milimeters) smaller than the trackpad of the 15" Macbook Pro with Retina Display. …
