I am usually weary about getting rubber plastic cases, but this is the one time that i got one and it is great. The rubber lining produces great protection if you drop it and it doesn't make the iPod look any bigger like other cases. …More

Great case even if it is a bit expensive

I got this case about a month ago, and it is really nice. I love the solid-ness of the case. Your ipod feels alot more durable being in it. The back is also see-thru so you can look at your beautiful apple logo :) The case is so easy to open, which is the main reason I got it, the only flaw I can find is that the slide that locks the case closed, often times gets unlocked by itself when I take it out of my pocket, I'm just scared it could fall out. However the case itself has "clicks" when you close it that keep it closed even if the slider is unlocked. The volume buttons, and sleep/wake button are both completely covered which is nice, and the bottom is very accessible. I love this case though. …More

This case offers the ease of taking the ipod in and out of the case without ANY problems. I have tried many, many other cases, and more often than not, I find that after I put them on, I am either afraid I am going to break my ipod touch trying to remove it from the case, or I am afraid of breaking the case itself (which in a few cases, I actually HAVE had to on purpose just to get the ipod out). I have used this case exclusively and WILL NOT use any others. I can remove my ipod quickly and as many times in a day as i need to, to dock with my portable speakers, dock in my car system, etc. In other words: I LOVE THE CONTOUR SHOWCASE CASE!!! …More

This case is a great case mostly because of its durability. I have dropped my iPod Touch once or twice and the case held up very well. The only concern I have about it is that after a while, the locking mechanism becomes more loose making it easier for the case to open. It happened to me once and then I just was more careful about it after that. This case is great for protecting your iPod from scratches. It also clearly shows off the back of your iPod. it is also very slim. However, the :"Open/Locked Closed" slider easily moves, and often my iPod comes out of the case in my pocket. I would not buy this case for full price. However if you get a friend to sell it to you for cheaper like I did, it is a great alternative to those flimsy all rubber cases …More
