Awesome clear case ever!
Written by JC from Seattle

First of all, it is really thin. It really has a good feel onto it and it really grasps the back so no dirt will ever go in (I tried putting it in my pocket, worked well). Those small circle-like stickers placed at the back on the phone really helps to avoid that mark when the jacket and the case touches, and also follow the instructions on the japanese website, place 5 not just 2 of the stickers: rectangular corners then one in the middle. Like what the box says, this product cannot completely protect the iPhone 3G from all scratches and abrasions - because of it's 0.7mm thickness of course. This is only for people who just places their iPhones on their desks or tabletops, not for those who throws it or occassionally drops their iPhones (ouch why would you drop it?)
Finally my search ended, I used the Griffin Elan Form case first, didn't work because of the leather peeling, swapped it again with another Elan Form case but leather-peeling persists, switched to Incase Slider black matte, didn't work because of some problems encountered taking it off and finally this Air jacket which for sure will be my last case for my own iPhone 3g. It shows its aesthetics, the beautiful apple logo at the back (still not scratched) and of course its color. Definitely worth it! The only thing that bothered me with the packaging is that they never specified which one is the Anti Glare and the Crystal Film, they have 2 films inside but no label I have to contact them just to check which is which, cause I'm using my old anti glare film on my iPhone 3g right now. Some people say the you could fee that the texture for the PS crystal film is smoother & has a clear image compared to the anti-glare (whew finally figured it out!)
Before I end this post, some cons I found.. the air jacket plastic case, you might find some imperfections - like really really small dotlike imperfections which you'll think are dust when they were manufacturing it. I couldn't get it off (sniff) but I only had like two of them so it doesn't bother me, besides the back of my phone is SOOO WHIIITEEE thank you power support!
As you can see in the photos, you won't even notice the case. …More223 of 254 people found this useful

Ideal Case for Simplicity
Written by JR from Glendale

This case is perfect if you want a non-bulky, low profile case for your iPhone. Being a guy, I carry my phone in my pocket and I don't need the extra weight that most other cases add. Plus, the back cover feels slick like the iPhone itself and it won't turn your pocket inside-out every time you pull it out (like other rubbery cases).
It is very form fitting so don't try to use on the old iPhones - it won't fit!
It's just what I wanted. …More174 of 188 people found this useful

Air Jacket so lightweight you won't know you're wearing it!

Really like this iphone case for it's streamline feel. I have had hard cases before which really add bulk but the Air Jacket feel much lighter. The hard case which protects the back and sides of the iphone is very thin and you can hardly tell it's there and because it's clear you can still appreciate the beautiful design of the iphone.
I also like the film cover as it protects the screen from scratches and helps reduce finger marks but also gives a smooth feel to the touch screen helping your finger move along it more easily.
You also get transparent adhesive pads to insert between the case and iphone which prevent the case from scratching the phone with any dust that may get stuck in there. …More169 of 185 people found this useful

Not sure why other people are giving this a bad review, maybe I have a later product version. This is great!
The iPhone is a thing of beauty and the clear version lets you see what you have paid all this money for! No problems with chargers and it absolutely protects the phone unless you throw it across the room - and why would you do that?
I am clumsy and pretty careless. I have had this for over 2 months now and it has served me very well. …More3 of 4 people found this useful

Good but caveats
Written by RS from Overland Park

The films are difficult to get on once you realize to just let the film put itself on. The clear screen has protected the glass pretty well, although it smudges easily. I am now trying the anti-glare screen which does wonders for reducing glare.
I have the clear case. Very thin, very unobtrusive. However, the case gets scratched easily (who cares? It's protecting the iPhone). Since it doesn't protroude forward of the screen bezel don't expect it to protect the screen.
The problem I have with this case is that where the front edge of the plastic meets the chrome of the iPhone, the micromotion of the unit and small dust particles trapped at the interface have rubbed millions of linear scratches in the chrome, even though I remove the unit weekly and clean everything twice with Apple Klear. …More8 of 14 people found this useful

Awesome Case!!

I have searched extensively for the perfect case and read all the reviews to all the products. I recently ordered this case as well as the Agent 18 clear case. I have a white phone so I wanted to show off the beautiful phone and I am so happy with this! The Agent 18 case was nice but this case is perfect! You can hardly tell the case is even on the phone! Love it and highly recommend this product! …More

Does this case cover the seam where the back cover (black or white) meets the silver frame? (I'm concerned about that area) Does the case fit tight?

Hi :)
I actually played with this (the purple one) in an apple store, took it out and tried it on.. i fell in love with it, but didn't have the money to buy it :(
In answer to your question, while loving it i tried to get it off to return it to its case, and a fair bit of force to remove it - so yes i would of said it was a rather tight case
