Overview

Secure your iPod or MP3 player in place while you drive with the Kensington Car Mount. Its flexible arm positions your iPod in view without taking up space or blocking dashboard controls. The adjustable, padded cradle holds your iPod without scratching. And there's no installation—the unique suction mount grips tightly, yet releases quickly by lifting a lever.

Notice to drivers in California and Minnesota: State law prohibits drivers in California and Minnesota from mounting items on car windows that may obstruct the drivers view. In California and Minnesota or where other state or local laws may prohibit drivers from mounting items on the windshield, drivers should mount the holder on the dashboard or other location. Kensington does not take any responsibility for any fines, penalties, or damages that may be incurred as a result of disregarding state or local laws.     If you mount this using the adjustable arm, your Ipod shakes while you drive. If you mount this using the stickers and don't use the arm, it works great. Would be better if the adjustable arm was not adjustable - hummmm

    The suction will mount to your window or dash (if plastic)

    I use this for my iPhone and it gives me a touch screen mounted device in my Jeep right next to the steering wheel. I can actually use the speakerphone on the iPhone to answer a call without removing it or using earphones. Works great for me. …More

    Love this! It holds my ipod firmly and puts it within easy reach while driving my vehicles; a Chevy, Toyota, and Ford. The arm is adjustable to almost any position and the suction cup attachment locks firmly on a flat window surface. I didn't try the double sided tape they sent with it because, frankly who wants that mess on thier dash ? This is worth the money!! …More

    Free Aux cable in the box

    This is very good value for money as you get a free aux cable in the box which makes this a great low cost low tech way to secure iTouch in car and connect to the car stereo if you have an aux port.

    The mount itself has a ratchet type mechanism which hold the iTouch very secure in place when squeeze shut. I had seen other alternatives in motor store but I am glad I spent the few extra quid which i easily recovered with the free aux cable

    Great product is great

    I decided to write this review because this product was getting some heat. I've owned one of these for over a year now and had little to no problems with it.

    Pros: Makes changing songs on your ipod almost as easy as changing songs on your CD

    Cons: The cable is a bit flimsy. One of the end rubber caps is loose and part of of the wire is exposed. HOWEVER this doesn't take much away from product since you can always buy a replacement cable at almost any store.

    Suggestion: To those who like to put up Windshield sun blockers, during the hotter months you might want to use the double sided tape pad (that's included) to stick the dock to your dash board.

    Overall: I give this a 4.5 stars, but since you can't give half stars I'll round up :)     …More
