    If you get a faulty one - you're stuffed

    My on-line ordered iPad arrived with a dud Power Adapter.
    I used another charger so I didn't immediately realise the new one was useless.

    I requested advice from Apple (1 day before the return expiry date) but they didn't respond.

    I rang a couple of days later (after the return expiry date) and was told the only way to get a replacement was to make an appointment with an Apple Support Genius (it's rocket science), then make a 150km round trip to the nearest Apple shop (that's why I bought on-line in the first place) with the dud adapter and iPad (they're umbilically joined).

    Alternatively, I was advised that I could purchase another one from Apple On-Line.

    No need to praise this accessory, it's what we all love and rely on.
    But I noticed the last line of the description:

    That's gotta be a typo, right?? This should read 'AU-style pins for use in Australasia'! Europe uses Type E/C pins, we use Type I. Confusing for some!     …More
