But after purchase, discovered the app is lame, and will not record more than few minutes. Not ready for prime time. But as one comment stated, "that would be cool". Duh.

Bluetooth connected to my iPhone and iPad with no effort, and as I use both I found that all my data is on both. No effort on my part, they keep both up to date. This has been as effortless a purchase as I would want. The Oximeter is very well built and looks very good. The readout is very visible and instant

BUT IT WOULD BE A LOT HANDIER IF IT WOULD RECORD OXYGEN AND HR OVER A PERIOD OF TIME. LIKE OVERNIGHT. Then sleep apnea people and such could use it, and APPLE WOULD HAVE A LOT MORE CUSTOMERS! Just spot measures of Oxygen and HR are OK, but not all that useful except in limited health situations.

I am a GP and my patients have complemented this little device on a few occasions which is a nice conversation point during an examination. Its great that manufacturers are paying attention to designs as well as function. It has a clear clean plastic cover that is easily cleanable and is white which shows up marks. Great when you consider having to clean this machine after 30 to 40 patients a day. I instinctively suspect it is accurate however I have not compared it directly to other devices. It is a great piece of medical equipment . My favourite to date . Would be great if the range was extended. Would love to see a BP monitor, thermometer , spirometer added with the same design language. I recommend it to any medical professional whom needs a sats monitor. It is also reasonably priced compared to the traditional bland and unaesthetic medical equipment / monitors out there.

Got it for a month and it's a catch 22 (mostly not able to) to get it connected to the phone or iPad. Replaced it with a new unit Got it for a month and it's a catch 22 (mostly not able to) to get it connected to the phone or iPad. Replaced it with a new unit and it's the same.

The app lacks any useful feature. It would be nice to be able to record at a defined intervals for an extended period. But it does not. When connected to iPhone, all it does are displaying a flimsy diagram of the measurement.
